Greg Mogel
, M.D.

Background:

Dr. Mogel is a board certified radiologist and an Assistant Professor of Radiology and Biomedical Engineering at USC. Prior to joining USC, Dr. Mogel was the Associate Director of the TATRC (Telemedicine and Advance Technology) at the US Army Medical Research Command Center, Fort Detrick , MD, overseeing a one hundred million dollars in research and development funding in telemedicine and related topics. Dr. Mogel is involved in the Radiology Residency Program in addition to his clinical responsibility, and teaching medical imaging informatics classes at BME. Dr. Mogel brings his expertise in military healthcare imaging informatics to the IPI research and development program. Dr. Mogel has been appointed associate director, TATRC west, Marina del Rey, CA.

Research Interests:

Teleradiology, PACS, abdominal imaging, clinician acceptance, HIPAA, reimbursement, regulatory issues, observer studies.
