Details of the ROI segmentation

To speed up the segmentation 3-step hierarchical multigrid approach is applied. Procedure makes use of Gibbs random fields and estimation of intensity functions. The object segmented out is the result of maximization of a posteriori probability density function. An adaptive method of a noise estimation and modelling of pixels interactions coefficient is implemented based on a global contrast of the input image.
