Epiphyseal size & shape analysis

Epiphyseal size & shape analysis applied for prepubertal children is based on measurements of distances, areas, diameters. In order to make the features indepent of region size, relative values are considered eg. ratio of epiphyseal and metaphyseal diameter.

Figure shows the definitions of basic parameters.
